Design Engineer – Wiring Harness

• Develop wiring harness designs, including connectors, junction boxes, receptacles, wedge locks, cables, pins, and more for electrical modules.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings of wiring harnesses, adhering to GD&T standards.
• Ensure the quality of engineering drawings through thorough checks.
• Generate schematics based on customer-specific or system requirements.
• Collaborate with customers on harness development activities and internal cross-functional teams (CFT) as well as Testing and Validation teams.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 to 5 Years of experience.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and circuit diagrams.
• Proficiency in wiring harness manufacturing processes, considered a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with benchmarking activities for wiring harness design and development, as well as value engineering and value analysis.
• Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
