Design Engineer – Water

 As our new Design Engineer, in Norway/UK networks team you will be part of Water department. As a member of the Water team you will be responsible for carrying out the network design for storm water, potable water, and wastewater. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables. You will be also doing storm water management using SUDS.

Key tasks and Responsibilities:-

Design Engineer shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. You will be responsible for preparation of technical documents, memo, and project reports You shall co-ordinate & collaborate with his/her counterparts across the globe & in India while working on national/international projects.

• Be self-motivated and proactive to all new challenges.
• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute. ME/ M. Tech in Environmental/Water resource would be key deciding factor.
• Should have at least 6 years of experience in drainage design, sewer Adesign and potable water network design specially in UK market.
• Knowledge of design codes like DMRB/Euro Codes/CIRIA is a necessary requirement.
• Should have knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for road, airport, and rail environment. Experience in big infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Should have hands on experience in using of the drainage design & modelling software like Microdrainge WinDes, SewerGems, Novapoint, AutoCAD Civil 3D. Knowledge of ArcGIS is will be a plus.
• In addition to the technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills.
• Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project.
• Desirable Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
