Design Engineer Process

• To deliver the basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, specifications PFDs, P&IDs, Datasheets etc.
• To prepare preliminary conceptual sketches, and schemes, specifications and data sheets within discipline based on senior guidance within quality window.
• To perform calculations like pump, control valve hydraulics, relief loads, heat and material balance, simulations etc.
• To participate in model reviews HAZOP studies, technical audits.
• To assist in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications
• To coordinate technical documents with other disciplines

Education Requirement:-

• Degree in Engineering Field
• Engineering Degree from accredited college or university

Experience Requirement:-

Necessary Experience:-

• 3-5 years minimum in relevant field.
• Should have worked for medium size projects. 1-2 projects should have been completed

Desirable Experience:-

• Site Experience

Skills & Competencies:-

• Working Knowledge in hydraulic calculation, control valve calculation etc., using software like KORF or any other equivalent or from first principles.
• Working knowledge in PSV load, sizing calculation etc. based on software or from first principles.
• Should be able to prepare independently on engineering deliverables like Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), line list, cause & effect diagram, process datasheets, battery limit schedule, process datasheet for instruments (IPDS), thermal design of heat exchangers, using HTRI , tie-in list etc.
• Know ledge  on usage of process simulation e.g. HYSIS ,
• Knowledge of working within budget time lines
