Design Engineer E&I

You will be working as Design Engineer E&I and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for BA Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for delivering the readable electrical and instrumentation engineering deliverables in terms of time schedule, cost and quality which are required for the project

Responsibilities:-

• Preparing of electrical and instrumentation documents/drawings in AutoCAD
• Validating the specifications of all cabinets, junction boxes, local boxes, etc in agreement with an electrical engineer
• Working in collaboration with the electrical engineer who provides the project input data and ownership for the readability of electrical documents: alignment, simplicity, common sense
• Updating the equipment ranges and knows how to define/choose equipment and heat dissipation calculations with the climatic data (in agreement with the electrical engineer)
• Contacting with the manufacturers/suppliers to have latest updates and information, to see the new materials and explore the possible optimizations
• Preparing of System Architecture, Bill of materials, General Arrangement Drawings, Schematic etc

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering discipline
• 3 years of professional work experience in Automation drawings and documents (DCS/ ESD/ FGS) for process industries in any one of the domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries/ Petrochemicals
• 5 years’ experience in similar functions ideally in an international environment
• Have good knowledge in understanding the scope, preparation of Cabinet drawings (GA/IGA/Schematic/BOM)
• Determination, capacity to organize the own daily work and prioritize topics,
• capacity to address multiple and diverse technical issue in a complex environment, autonomy,
• customer orientation, sensitivity to Integrity and security aspects
