Deputy Manager – Techno Commercial

• Manage sourcing and purchase of the specified spend category, develop and sustain vendor relationships and negotiate best price points, thereby meeting specifications of quality, timelines within the stipulated budgetary requirements.
• Assist in the review of approved PR (Purchase Requisition) from user department; seek additional information if required from user for correctness & completeness of PR.
• Provide support in identifying the type and method of procurement (depending on type of material/ services to be procured, nature of PR (normal vs. emergency PR), stocks available, availability of rate contract, value, delivery timeline etc.).
• Strategic Sourcing for Capex, Opex, Bulk Material & Services.
• Selection of bidding process, preparation of vendor selection approach and vendor evaluation criteria depending on the nature of the category.
• Technical and Commercial bid evaluation of vendors.
• Contract Preparation and Order Placement.
• Procurement through Rate Contracts.
• Associated Procurement Activities – Post Order Management.
• Address, resolve or re-allocate and share response for queries raised by vendors or from other internal stakeholders, during expediting delivery.
• Supplier Management, Supplier/ Vendor Identification and Onboarding.
• Supplier/ Vendor Performance Management.
• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers/ vendors of assigned category which will benefit Adani from a long-term perspective and effectively leverage them for value additions to business.
• Assist in collation and analysis of data related to various procurement activities (e.g. commodity analysis, supplier debugging, etc.) for respective categories.
• Identify and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and value by analysing data.
• Assist in identifying all procurement risks for assigned categories (using master list of procurement risk, supply market analysis, long term procurement plan, annual procurement plan and project risk register).
• Work closely with Site TC Head, Category Lead, Head Projects, Site HODs, to complete the ordering within the estimated cost, approved budget and time schedule.
• Interact with existing partners and vendor to reinforce working relationship, strengthen collaboration, track project deliveries and mitigate risks if any.
• Interact with a variety of potential suppliers/ vendors/ partners and build strategic relationship with them with the objective of leveraging them for business advancement in the future.
• Partner with external agencies to ensure control and compliance; Mitigate risks if any.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• BE.
• 7+ years of experience in Techno Commercial/Contract Planning.
