Job Description

Role Purpose: 

  • Responsibility of Preparation of all financial MIS reporting for Cluster or Mine Site.
  • Provide data Analysis for Mining Business for improvement of Top line / Bottom Line.
  • Responsible for finalize Cluster / Mine Budget with support to /from Sites.
  • Monthly and Quarterly review related activities.
  • Budget Controlling and Monitoring for Cluster/ Mine Site, Need to ensure transactions as per the approve Budget.
  • To review NFA for any budget proposal and finalize along with Sites for final approval.
  • Work closely with Mine Site/ Cluster to identify “areas of improvements” and submit to the other concerned stakeholders for implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Finance Planning and Budgeting – 40%
    • Manage the annual budget process, including developing key assumptions, working with business partners to ensure budgets are appropriate and that operational partners establish action plans that achieve the necessary financial outputs.
    • Develop long range plans, including developing the appropriate models and working with Functional and Business Heads to reflect business trends in the financial plans.
    • Primary interface with business partners to ensure appropriate cost control, accurate forecasting, and insightful business understanding.
    • Establish high-level financial risk management policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and analyze forecast of present and potential financial risks.
  2. Financial Analysis – 60%
    • Originate and develop analyses to help Executive leadership team to better understand financial trends and financial opportunities (e.g., cost savings, business development, etc.).
    • Evaluate and manage financial performance of the organization and ensure awareness of Executive Leadership team of the performance.
    • Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies in order to identify and make recommendations on opportunities.
    • Support Bid Management activities by reviewing inputs on CAPEX and OPEX.
    • Develop pricing strategy for bids and tenders.
    • Review capital financing models and commercial models for bids.
    • Review and develop customer profitability analysis.

Qualifications :

  • Essential: Master’s Diploma/ Degree in Finance/ CA
  • Desired: MBA/ CA/ Accounts Management
  • Hands on Experience of SAP ERP

Experience:

7+ years of professional experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in finance and accounts in a large organization (Infrastructure experience preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in a MIS and Planning role.
