Deputy General Manager – Contract Administration Adani Green Energy Ltd Ahmedabad, Gujarat Job Posted : Aug 23rd, 2022 Job Description Handling Contracts Administration of State/ Central PSU Coal Blocks. The position will act as an interface with the client from the company’s point of view handling all day to day issues. Roles and Responsibilities:- Compliance of contractual requirement & should have good understanding of mining business and mining policies. Study Contract and prepare Risk-Mitigation analysis and present before management. Compliance of various statutory requirement viz. Quarterly /Monthly submission to CEA/ Coal Controller/DGMS/MOC/MOEF etc. Dealing with senior government officials, understand government system & process. Making Correspondence with client to fulfill contractual obligations. Liaoning with Authorities. Drafting contractual correspondences, protecting contractual interest of the organization, representing the Company in Contractual matters. Review and reply to various important correspondences/communications in keeping with Contract conditions. Reviews and provides guidance in the preparation of contracts, agreements, amendments and change orders. Ensure all notices and the like are prepared and forwarded to the Client as specified in the contract. Prepare progress claims and monitor receipt of payment. Identification, preparation and submission of various Claims & Variations. Ensure all sub-contractor claims, extensions of time and variations are checked prior to approval. Maintain contractual records such as receipt and control of all contractual correspondences, customer contact information sheet etc. Relationship management with owner and getting approval, extension, Internal and External stakeholder management. Technology and IT Enablement Ms-Office, SAP – Basic KRAs with Outcomes ( Jobs which brings value to the organisation) Domain Keys Result Ares Outcomes Contracting Lifecycle Eliminating bottlenecks such as inefficient document management, overly complex approval process, communication issues between different departments. Minimal time to signature Contract Risk Analyse and report on specific risks associated with contracts Minimal avoidable business risk Contract Compliance Interpret contract requirements, request necessary waivers and approvals, Support project implementation with emphasis on contract and sub-contract compliance. Adherence to contract management processes. Maximum compliance with obligations by all parties. Negotiations & Renewals Negotiate new awards of Prime and sub-contracts Best possible value from contract agreements and contract renewals. Working with consistently reliable vendors and counterparties. Educational Qualification:- Essential: B.E./B. Tech – Mining from reputed institution. Management degree/PG diploma will be added advantage. Experiences:- 14+years of professional experience with excellent Reading, speaking and writing skills and prior experience of liaison activity with the owner. Location:- Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
