Coordinator, Marine Power Sales

Wärtsilä’ Marine Power is seeking a Coordinator – Marine Power Sales who is ready to jump on board. The successful candidate will be based in Mumbai, India as a part of Marine Power Sales team.

Responsibilities:-

• Coordinate and ensure required contractual documents are compiled and submitted to Customers post receipt of order.
• Coordinate with different functions and Wartsila network companies internally to ensure all contractual documents are complied with while submission of invoices to the Customers.
• Keep a track of invoicing and ensure that the invoices along with all contractual supporting documents are submitted on time to Customers.
• Visit Customer’s offices regularly; also maintain structured follow up with Customers to ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Co-ordinate with Wartsila Credit control team to update status on receivables
• Maintain and report weekly receivables status clearly indicating status of each invoice and if any action required.
• Any other work as and when assigned by the function head.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Graduation in relevant educational discipline.
• 3-5 years of sales/B2B experience is a must.
• Understanding of the Marine sector and economic drivers within the local Market in India is highly recommended.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient level of English and Hindi languages, both verbal as well as written.  Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
• Advance level of using Microsoft office tools and SAP ERP.
• Operational excellence mind-set and will to work as a strong team player.
• Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values, and company policies applicable as employee and/or the position.
• Continuously seek for solutions keeping a customer focus mindset.
• Understanding of Wärtsilä business, quality, and workplace is a plus.
