Communication Analyst

A vacancy has arisen for a Communication Analyst to join their busy global team to help drive energy transition and realise our strategic vision. This role reports to the Communication and Advocacy Specialist at ISA and shall perform a variety of tasks creating content of all types to support internal and external engagement and awareness needs. As a highly experienced professional you will work closely with your supervisor on a day-to- day basis, delivering on strategies – messaging across multiple channels. The ISA intends to develop a communications-led global advocacy strategy that will anchor its engagement with policymakers, economists, private sector players and funding institutions from across the globe, and from target nations, across the spectrum of economic development. ISA will endeavour to engage stakeholders through both owned and third- party international forums, while also monitoring technological advancements.

Your Broader Scope of Work (but not limited to):-

• Creating a repository of unique, cutting edge, innovative and distinctive ISA assets and
• Crafting and implementing outreach and advocacy strategies and campaigns
• Strengthening the visual and verbal identities of ISA
• Acting as the brand custodian
• Leadership communications
• Supporting the enhancement, review, and updating of ISA digital platforms
• Liaising with the advocacy partners and agencies
• Supporting and scaling-up onsite and virtual engagements
• Enabling knowledge building and sharing among member countries

What you will need to Succeed:-

• More than ten years of experience in media, outreach, communication, and advocacy roles with relevant experience in advocacy with global stakeholders in energy and climate domain
• Proven experience in crafting advocacy strategy for government, public-sector bodies, and multilateral
• Proven experience of dealing with complex advocacy environment and delivering under tight timelines
• Post-graduate degree in media or communication or management or arts/humanities related fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and collaborative

Languages:-

•  Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
