Clean Energy Financing Specialist

• Support in technical assistance activities related to innovative financing instruments like InvITs, green bonds, alternate investment funds, concessional financing etc. The technical assistance shall include preparation of concept notes/presentations/reports, stakeholder discussions and transaction support like valuation, structuring and documentation.
• Developing excel based financial models, concept notes, reports and presentations on financing aspects pertaining to clean energy.
• Support the clients in transitioning to clean energy/decarbonisation through identification and adoption of optimised financing solutions.
• Assistance in investor outreach, conducting road shows and investor meets.
• Collaborate with investors/developers/organizations/other stakeholders to develop understanding of the requirements and customising solutions accordingly.
• Prepare and author reports, research papers, articles documenting evidence and experience from pilots and other studies.
• Conduct trainings and capacity development workshops for investors, developers, banks, FIs etc.
• Develop case studies and lessons learned, for further sharing across the SA region.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or Commerce or Management and 5 years of experience
• Experience of working in the clean energy (renewables and energy efficiency) sector.
• Demonstrated network among leading technology players, financial institutions, and service providers.
• Experience in fund-raising (debt and equity), financing strategy, financial appraisal, financial modeling due diligence etc.
• Previous experience in green bonds, InvITs, concessional financing, corporate bonds or alternate investment trusts shall be preferred.
• Prior experience working on a donor-funded projects is a plus.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all clients, peers, and stakeholders.
• Experience in South Asia region is a plus.
• Motivated and able to work under challenging and fast paced environment. 
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload, self-manage and complete tasks to best meet project needs. 
• English language proficiency
