C&I Engineer

• Planning of project site activities with project manager including resource mobilization, equipment and achieving milestones.
• Responsible from receiving the site work area from the customer/project manager and post completion of work hand over to the end customer. -Coordinate for all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment of contract specifications, quality standards, schedule and safety requirements.
• Managing the contractors/Vendors at site and ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet schedule and agreed standards.
• Preparing daily site progress report, material receipt report, Daily plan/ weekly plan, updated project schedule, weekly/monthly safety reports, front availability from other project teams.
• Manage construction & Commissioning related interface/interactions with contractors and other functional groups (e.g. engineering, systems completions, installations, testing, commissioning etc).
• Experience as DCS in-charge for execution of FGD projects for Thermal power plants.
• Ability to understand Electrical drawings like Key SLD, GA & SLD, Scheme drawings, Layout drawings, AutoCAD 2D drawings and 3D models and extract BOQ.
• Should have experience in erection and commissioning of DCS system, VMS system, UPS, 24V DC system, Field instruments, MOV/Dampers, PLCs, VFDs, Networking system, programming etc.
• Resolve routine construction site issues breakdowns barriers to progress.
• Actively participate in key risk assessments, construction readiness review and independent project review.
• Basic domain knowledge of Thermal power project or other industries. Experience in FGD project will be an added advantage.
• Well versed with work procedures & safety requirements including working at heights.
• Handling Sub contractor including monitoring productivity, progress and billing.
• Contractors RA bill approvals, Processing and to ensure timely payments.
• Handling Client including stage wise inspection, certification of protocols, bills and handing over.
• Preparing 3 Month, monthly, weekly and daily commissioning program and achieving the same.
• Reconciliation of material and quantities.
• Maintaining cordial relationship with customer.
• Execution of works as per FQAP and ensuring no NCR.
• Good communication (Verbal & Writing) skill and ability to drive and participate in all aspect of site management.
• Strong coordination and team building skills.
