Chief Manager – Sustainability KEC International Limited Mumbai, Maharashtra Job Posted : Jul 19th, 2022 Job Description Engage with the internal stakeholders and present regular sustainability reports and conduct sustainability assessments. Develop and execute an overall program management and change management strategy related to business ESG initiatives/processes. Ensure ESG materiality assessments and other works related to corporate sustainability/ESG reports in accordance with the requirement of various frameworks and ratings. Collect, validate, calculate, and aggregate ESG data for reporting from various businesses and location. Complete and manage ESG indicators and metrics, and interact with internal / external stakeholders. Proposes and implement strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy and water use, conservation, reduction of pollution, emissions and solid wastes, recycling and general education on sustainability in the supply chain. Maintain current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable local, state, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations. Conduct in-house and third party assurance of ESG related policies, programs and certifications. Understand ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, PRI and TCFD and other global and national guidelines. Facilitate the ESG capacity building at middle and senior management level. . Co-ordinate with ESG Governance Committees, Senior Leadership Team, EHS, technical and finance managers and specialists to design and implement the sustainability Build relationship and network across sectors, industry forums, institutions and business units. Participate in the ESG communication plans of the company with external stakeholders and its presence in public forums and media. Work towards digitalisation of ESG data and be custodian for the same. Participate in Leadership meeting to brief top management on the progress made on sustainability roadmap. Desired Qualification:- B.E./B.Tech, Masters / Doctorate degree in Science or Equivalent professional qualifications.Training/ courses on sustainability management. ESG, HSE or Sustainability certification preferred with experience in designing or redesigning ESG programs. Experience required:- 10-12 yrs (B.E.) yrs relevant exp . Experience in developing ESG disclosure projects, climate change transition strategies for Manufacturing / EPC Industry and exposure in setting up sustainability management organisation or at least 5-10 years in Sustainability domain in consulting Knowledge and experience in global environmental standards and frameworks: such as GRI, UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and others. Ability to analyse and understand sustainability related research and to identify relevant and valuable topics and material issues. Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to lead goal directed projects. Excellent verbal and communication skills and competency as trainer to identify and facilitates training as needed. Good presentation skills to deliver proposals to varying groups of individuals and stakeholders.
