Job Description

Working extensively on policy advocacy issues and contributing to policy advocacy efforts of SPTL at central and state level

Responsibilities:-

  • Deep dive analytical research of critical policies and regulations – domestic and global
  • Working closely and managing relationships with Industry, Ministry of Power, CEA, CTU, REC, PFC
  • Working closely with Regulatory bodies
  • Passion and energy around building strong relationship with policy customers
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and ability to align internal stakeholders around policy initiatives that are critical for future success of the business
  • Awareness about the important changes in Policy at State & Central Level
  • Ability to work with business leaders and represent company at various forums, seminars, conferences etc

Position Demands:-

Traveling to States, Leading industry, forums, relationships, analytics and reports.

Critical Success Factors – Essential:-

  • 8+ yrs of total experience
  • Min 4-5 yrs of experience in power transmission sector
  • External focus/ experience with govt bodies, industry, forums etc
  • In-depth Technical know-how about power transmission

Critical Success Factors – Desirable:-

  • Age < 35 years
  • Key relationships at government bodies
  • Policy developments related to Power sector
