Chief Engineer – Electrical and Electronics Engineering

As Chief Engineer you will take the complete ownership of Electrical engineering department deliveries with strong customer focus. You are responsible to secure technology development and installation of the technical areas for Electrical Power Protection & Distribution, HMI switches & Sensors, Wiring harness & connectors. You are also a role model in collaboration and leadership

• Lead the Electrical Engineering department providing clear purpose, strategic direction and guidance to the team.
• Take charge of department’s budget and resources planning and managing the budget considering both current and future needs.
• Ensure assigned projects/tasks are delivered on time and with right quality.
• Provide technical guidance & support to engineering teams during development stage and issue resolution.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvements in the team and implement engineering best practices in Wow/tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Drive engineering excellence and innovation by accelerating the competence growth of the team to secure the transformation towards advanced, sustainable technologies.
• Actively participate in the global engineering community by sharing knowledge and insights.
• Maintain a network globally within Electrical Engineering across all sites and build trust at all levels.

Qualification and Experience:-

• You are holding a master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering
• You have at least 10 years of work experience in automotive product development, with at least 3 years in development of components and systems, or project management.
• You have a successful track record of at least 5 years in inspiring, motivating and leading high performing teams as line manager, leading people or leading leaders.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to work in a highly cross functional environment.
• Management, direction setting, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• You are a proficient communicator, networker and team player and you enjoy working in a multi-cultural, matrix organization.
• You have an innovative and positive mindset, are open to change and able to establish common objectives.
• You foster inclusive and diverse teams where open dialogue and collaboration is natural and where difficult issues are faced with courage and integrity.
