Cell Leader – Heat Treatment

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Develop shop floor schedules to meet customer demand and plant goals.  Key considerations include meeting customer on time delivery, maximizing efficiency and minimizing scrap.
• Hands on experience of All Heat Treat Equipment (SQF, Carburizing process for Gear manufacturing).Hands on experience of Metallurgy inspection. Trouble shooting of HT processes.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Manpower planning to meet organizational goals.
• Promote and sustain ELS disciplines and improvements.  Ensure that standardized practices are followed where applicable. Knowledge of Quality management systems.
• Evaluate shop floor training needs (including cross training) and provide as needed.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor performance of production personnel and identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Provide strong leadership to develop a participative and continuous improvement culture in the organization.
• Ensure that all regulatory standards and company policies are understood, supported and followed on the shop floor.
• Support implementation of key certification requirements – EBEA, ISO14001, EQS, IATF, MESH.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:-

• Minimum Engineering Graduate Level (B.E. / BSc.)  of (10+2+4).
• Preferably 8-12   years Heat Treatment production experience.
• Understand basic ELS tools such as setup reduction and 5S.
• Supervisor/Leadership skills.
• ELS tools.
• Analytical problem solving skills.
• ERP.
