Business System Analyst

We have the exciting opportunity to hire a Business Systems Analyst to be a member of our Agile Scrum team alongside our skilled engineers. We are looking for an experienced and highly capable individual who will help innovate our platform service delivery and partner with our customers to drive valuable business outcomes. This is a customer-facing role and partnership with our Product Manager requires exceptional communication and partnership. An ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for continual improvement, team-oriented mindset, experience in the creation and delivery of presentations to customers, development of customer facing knowledge and documentation, and experience with AWS cloud services. In this role, you will work cross-functionally, assist the Cloud Platform Product Manager in product delivery, and support overall Agile and DevOps environment.

Job Duties:-

• Works as a partner to cloud architecture and Product Manager to assist in building roadmaps
• Works with Product Manager, Cloud Providers and technical SMEs to understand new cloud services and drive them through security and compliance reviews with a goal to help anticipate customers’ needs and improve overall process.
• Create and manage DevOps value measures for platform engineering team
• Creation and maintenance of platform documentation repository and artifacts
• Partner with Product Manager and aide in coaching agile practices- driving priority, accountability and development efficiencies.
• Assist in coordinating across all teams for alignment (Cross-functional roadmap), raising awareness of issues and roadblocks and driving discussions to remediate
• Reviewing business processes to advise on improvements and lead efforts to implement improvements.
• Working closely with leadership to understand priorities and communicate status and any issues requiring escalation.
• Developing and fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders; excellent problem-solving and driving teams to deliver task assignments.
• Execute against prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business strategies. 
• Collaborate across KGS teams and with our customers to implement business transformation projects, providing functional analysis, driving experiments, and contributing input to determine the best solutions. 
• Communicate effectively to business partners, IT teams and Leadership on status, risks and roadblocks, and aiding team members to overcome obstacles. 
• Effectively capture business requirements and user stories, mapping business processes, and developing functional specifications. 

Basic Qualifications:-

• 7-10+ years’ experience developing content, facilitating meetings, collaborating with stakeholders, requirements gathering, and communications with senior leadership
• 5+ years developing communication content using MS Office Products 
• 3+ years practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Must have ability to utilize agile methods to handle multiple tasks, responding rapidly to changing priorities and working with tight deadlines.
• 3+ years of business analyst experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
• 2+ years applied/functional knowledge or experience with AWS Services
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of operations/users, including translating between technical and functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity
• Strong initiative and be a self-starter with limited management oversight
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in an agile/scrum team
• Experience working as a member of a self-organizing Agile Scrum team with practical application of backlog refinement, user story creation, commitment to sprint forecast and delivery.

Qualification And Experience:-

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in communications, business management (MBA) or other relevant area
• 5+ years of experience in a cloud service product management, business development, sales, marketing, or technical role preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of software configuration and release/deployment (CI/CD) platforms
