Business Development Executive

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Business Development Executive to take a key role in Business development (BD) activities in Mott MacDonald India. The role holder will support BD activities, co-ordinate the Mott MacDonald Group’s activities related to WIN and provide support to all Business stakeholders. The BD executive will work closely with Development managers and Account Leaders. The BD Executive will also act as a focal point for coordination and collaboration between the different Divisions/portfolios regarding marketing, support in WIN activities, knowledge development & sharing, support in bid delivery (wherever possible), etc.

Responsibilities:-

• Provide overall support to the unit & Division Business Development/WIN team.
• Preparation of Monthly BD/Sales report.
• Preparation/maintenance of dashboard with various business KPIs
• Manage WIN library, coordination with divisional WIN team in updating bidding related materials i.e. capdocs, summary sheets etc
• Support Development managers, Account Leaders in BD, Bids, Marketing, websites development etc. Support Account Leaders in preparation and updation of Customer Engagement Plans (CEPs).
• Group Prospect tracker updation, ensuring all prospects are accurately captured, screened, and reported. Support business managers in preparation of annual Business/Sales Plans. BD investment analysis. Support in preparation of marketing materials, internal communications.
• Contribute to BD networks & wider Mott MacDonald Development activities.
• Support and implement performance metrics to improve business Development efficiency. Due diligence on potential partners.
• Regularly support business performance and generate performance reports to management.
• Analyzing large data sets to identify trends and present any findings to key stakeholders.
• Assisting with BD initiatives, hosting workshops, and gathering feedback.
• Support developing tools and dashboards to better monitor business performance.
• Assisting WIN team and contributing to bidding for new projects.

Candidate Specification:-

Desired Qualification and Experience:-

• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Additional qualification will be preferred.
• Required experience 5 to 10 yrs.
• Sound understanding of business environment/market conditions of India. Research and Analytics
• A strong background and skills in Business Development, and an understanding of consulting business will have an added advantage.
• An understanding and actual exposure of working on Business Development activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerBI.
• Excellent organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as within tight deadlines.
• Experience in a business intelligence project would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English, excellent communication and writing skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with great teamwork abilities.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
