BOP Engineer

Responsibilities

• To perform O&M activities of 66/33 KV pooling substations
• Monitor Sub-contractor employees and assigning daily planned task to them
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly generation readings and sharing to customer.
• Planning O&M activities of 33KV USS yards , 33KV internal lines
• Develop and implement methods and procedure designed to eliminate maintenance problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair of electrical components – Switch gear, Transformers, Protection Relays, and Breakers.
• Directly supervise employees and work closely with vendor and contractors.
• Use technical knowledge, equipment documentation.
• Safety procedure and maintenance schedules to follow
• improve and develop preventative and routine maintenance program.
• Making schedule for monthly, weekly & daily program
• Complete the reports, conducting safety conversation, complying other reporting as necessary.
• Guidance to Site Engineers and contractors about Safety, Quality and Timely Completion of work
• Fault identification & rectification of AC & DC power system

Qualifications And Experience:-

• BE or Diploma in EEE with valid ‘C’ license from Gujarat.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Substation O&M

Competencies:-

• Capable to handle two substations simultaneously
• Ability to read, comprehend and write English as well as the regional language
• Ability to effectively participate in all training courses.
• Good Communication
• Good innovative and problem-solving skills.
• Social and self-competence
