Bids & Proposal Engineer

This is a Bids & Proposal Engineer role at a Global Grade 15,reporting to the Sales Support Manager in Business Area – India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to prepare quality quotation on time.

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for selection/sizing of field instrumentation products like Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Positioners and all types of Switches, Gauges etc.
• Should understand tender documents/ requisitions (RFQ) and specifications for field instrumentation, preparation of techno commercial offer.
• Tendering including analysis of technical specifications, preparing comments/deviations, estimating time, risk identification etc.
• Interacting with customers/ consultants on technical requirements.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Technical Expertise on Measurement Product Technologies, Features & Configurations.
• Knowledge on International standards like IEC, ASME, etc.
• Exposure to process industries: Oil & Gas, Water, Minerals, Power. Pulp Paper etc.
• Exposure on International Commercial terms (INCOTERMS 2020)
• Experience in dealing with EPC Requirements.
• B.E/ B.Tech (Instrumentation/ Electronics) from a reputed university.
• 5-7 Years of relevant work experience in field instrumentation products.
