Benefits Analyst II First Solar Perrysburg Facility Job Posted : Nov 16th, 2020 Job Description Analyze Americas benefit programs and assist in the development, implementation, administration and communication of benefits programs for the Company. Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR or finance CEBS or CBP preferred Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a corporate Benefits environment Experience with project management support required Experience with analysis of multi-state self-insured medical plans required International benefits exposure preferred Experience with HRIS and payroll systems required Experience with 401(k) administration preferred Experience with benefits compliance and ACA strongly preferred Experience with corporate communications strongly preferred Required Skills/Competencies: Knowledge of all relevant US benefits laws required, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA required Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities required Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word required Strong interpersonal, analytical, logical reasoning, written and verbal persuasion/communication skills Knowledge of corporate wellness and open enrollment processes preferred Experience with PeopleSoft or Workday HRIS Systems or like systems strongly preferred Essential Responsibilities: Assist with analyzing Americas benefits programs and suggest recommendations for changes as appropriate Lead the wellness benefit and any wellness initiatives as needed Provide assistance with the administration of the 401(k) plan Assist on compliance items including Non-Discrimation Testing and annual compliance mailing and lead ACA reporting and COBRA administration Review benefit costs on a monthly basis and analyze trends to report findings Participate in appropriate benefit surveys. Verify benefit plan premiums/fees and prepare payments to be made to vendors Assist with open enrollment and new benefit plan rollouts, including planning, administration, communication and system setup Assist with mergers and acquisitions benefit support Partnering with other analysts on new benefit plan implementations Assist with audit of data in the HRIS record-keeping system Handle standard benefit issues, interfacing with broker/consultant as needed Assist the financial wellness program Understand relevant local, state and federal benefit regulations and recommend plan revisions as appropriate Assist Payroll, HRIT and Compensation teams with benefit projects as needed Provide lead support with the creation of benefit training and communications to all levels of associates Maintain effective partnerships with HR to ensure that benefit solutions maintain retention while meeting business needs Other duties as assigned US Physical Requirements: Office Physical Requirements: All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
