Auxiliary Equipment Engineer

You will be part of a team of Designers, Engineers and Specialists dedicated to product design and project execution. By joining this team, you will have a chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

Responsibilities:-

• Specifications and mechanical design of equipment used in a cement plant for producing cement clinker, including calculations and documentation
• Release of deliverable meeting the defined quality norms while ensuring adherence to contractual and project specific requirements within the defined time frame.
• Defining requirements for new design products together with the Specialist Team
• Technical assistance to colleagues worldwide, suppliers and plant sites on time. Take part in technical discussions with the client.
• Work in close collaboration with the Product Specialist and Chief Engineer.
• Design and support state of the art cement plant equipment, prepare necessary documentation covering risk assessments, drawings, specifications, instructions and design manuals.
• Design, and prepare necessary calculations on equipment as well as on machinery parts.
• Prepare/Update design manuals to be used in projects
• Make technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
• Apply design judgements using the knowledge of Fits, Tolerances, Finish, Manufacturing methods and workshop practices.
• Deliver the best possible quality – also when deadlines turn tough, and it takes serious persistence to get to the goal
• Support to sales, procurement, project management, installation and commissioning
• Travels to job sites and regional offices as required in support of equipment problems, installations, and sales efforts
• Assists operations with manufacturing problems and implementation of low-cost sourcing initiatives

Qualification And Experience:-

• B.E. or B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
• MInimum 8 years’ experience in product design and project execution
• Record of successfully executing projects from Design to Installation in cement industry or equivalent.
• Knowledge of fabrication of heavy equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting at the site with a hands-on approach
• Exposure to the cement and or minerals industry would be an added advantage (Milling/Grinding/Process/Pyro/etc.,)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D Modelling with demonstrated experience.
• Knowledge of PDM system will be an added advantage
• Proficient to work in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Proficient to work in teams as well as independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
