Asst. Lead / Lead Engineer – Quality

Responsibilities:-

• Your primary responsibility will be to develop solutions for quality issues in collaboration with our stakeholders in the Tower value chain
• Participate in forensic engineering analysis to determine technical and systemic root causes of reported field issues
• Develop technical solutions as part of Vestas Continuous Improvement Management
• Ensure Closed Loop Quality by capturing lessons from field issues and improve new Tower design solutions
• Engage with Tower Module stakeholders and respond timely to request from Vestas’s construction sites and Service organization
• Handle a wide range of requests submitted to Tower Business Support ticket system and provide accurate, valid, and complete solutions
• Support tower development projects to achieve targets within quality, time, and cost
• Support Continuous Cost out initiatives across the Tower value chain

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace/  Similar specialization with Minimum 3 – 5 years of technical experience in wind industry, Heavy industries, or Automated manufacturing
• Should have Broad Knowledge in Engineering Basics
• Experience with preparing corrective action and tracking of required actions
• Experience with CAD design technologies, PDM Link and familiar with quality tools like DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis and Risk Assessment
• Good communication skills in English, both orally and written
