Job Description

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that can support our client relationships.
  • Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
  • Contribute to the development of the multi-disciplined project team’s approach.
  • Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters.
  • Undertake research, data collection and presentation of information.
  • Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures.
  • Be aware of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan.
  • Experience with parametric modelling software is desirable and may be a development target.
  • Shares lessons learnt and best practice. Proactively leads knowledge share sessions within the practice.
  • Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Degree in Structural Engineering with 4 to 7 years of experience.
  • Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or near Chartered.
  • Have experience in Building Design.
  • Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis, Fastrak, and Revit experience are desirable but not essential).
  • Proven experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) to current Eurocodes
