Assistant Project Manager – Solar Rooftop & Ground Mount

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Project Planning and Execution of the Complete Project as per the Contract.
• All correspondences/ meetings etc. with Customer / Vendor. Coordinating the entire system design including customer requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, and designing activities for approval and clearance from consultant.
• Overall internal monitoring of the project with Engineering/Purchase/Accounts/Contractors.
• Monitoring of Engineering /Manufacturing / Inspections/ Expediting of all Bought-out items as per the Schedule.
• Responsible for Project Procurement (Vendor selection, negotiation/ finalization, inspection & Delivery).
• Managing Commercial Transactions with Client like Payment follow up & Collection of Payment, Payment reconciliation & Negotiation with service contractors.
• Preparation of Cost Estimation Sheet for Project proposal.
• Preparation and monitoring ‘Cash flow’ as per the Approved Budget.
• Contractual correspondence with customer & vendors.
• Managing the Plant Safety Approval (CEIG Certificate).
• Processing & Implementation of Net-Metering arrangement.
• Managing Project Handing-over formalities.
• Arrangement for Project Presentation & Training to the Customer.

Additional Roles:-

• Develop working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Client to prepare for project review meetings.
• Liaison with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Examine deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications.
• Facilitating flow of information between various stakeholders.
• Review reports/schedules for inconsistencies.
• Assess reliability of suppliers and vendors and find suitable solutions for ongoing problems.
• Perform clerical duties, maintain accurate records and files of activities.
• Follow established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Need to visit site/Vendors on regular basis

• Good EQ (Emotional Quotient/ Intelligence) Level
• Conceptualizing project execution plans after discussion with clients, gathering information and preparing functional specifications and system requirement specifications.
• Planning & Management of resources allocation, budget & time for smooth execution of project as per the set deadline.
• Managing or tracing information and tracking requirements status throughout the project.
• Reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications for smoother installation & commissioning of the networks.
• Identifying project bottlenecks and undertaking corrective measures.
• Handover the project with satisfactory desired performance to the customer. Training to the customer regarding system working, routine maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Liaising with the local authority (CEIG Approvals & Net Metering) to ensure compliance with local regulations and by-laws.
