Job Description

Revenue Recognition and Analysis:-

  • Review and approve Department’s service orders (with oversight)
  • Calculate and track monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings.
  • Weekly/ Monthly revenue pipeline tracking for own department.
  • Fee Reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP and company business processes.
  • Review  monthly  fee and expense details – pull backup as needed and ensure proper coding of expenses.

Pricing/Contracts:-

  • Setting up contract request as per contract to facilitate billing.
  • Partner with Project Manager to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work.
  • Proficiency in project profitability drivers.

Reporting & Analysis:-

  • Assist account teams with monthly project budget to actual tracking and other required client reporting.
  • Maintain a catalogue of required client reporting and ensure timely completion.

Billing/Cash Flow Management:-

  • Facilitate monthly billing – liaison between account staff and billing department and review billing reports.
  • Review/approve write-off’s.
  • Assist project managers & business managers with Out of pocket expense billing.
  • Review outstanding receivables and work with staff to secure payment.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices and supporting documentation.

Project & Resource Management:-

  • Review project request forms for compliance and uploads them into PeopleSoft.
  • Review staff utilization, realization, and capacity and proactively communicate meaningful observations to management.
  • Prepare and/or review staff utilization reports and flag issues for management.
  • Run financial queries upon staff request.
  • Provide time and expense details to PM’s as incurred on the project(s)
  • Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquencies.

General Management:-

  • Ensure department compliance with company financial policies.
  • Serve as an integral part of the financial management team.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of various initiatives, policies and procedures relating to the overall area of client finance.

Team Interactions:-

  • Communicate seamlessly across locations within finance as well as the business team.
  • Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and team members.
  • Design and engage in team-building activities.
  • Take responsibility for personal growth and development using available resources.

Qualifications And Experience:-

  • Post Graduation degree in Finance/Accounts.
  • Min 5+ years of FIN or ACC experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
