Assistant Manager – Detailing

The Assistant Manager – Detailing will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Senior Project Engineering Manager . The candidate would be working directly with customers located around the globe and will manage day to day issues on utility scale PV projects from the development stage to construction support. Candidate will also be overseeing the work done by project engineers

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:-

• Develop and maintain best CAD drafting practices
• Work with team to conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs of the PV tracker plant
• Be customer facing representative for all project engineering aspects
• Perform and manage detailing work using AutoCAD to support and advice customers on project design
• Coordinate with project engineers spread across the globe to create and update new standards, make design changes, and address project related issues.
• Provide construction support; RFIs and submittals
• Project tracking and monitoring the deliverables
• Oversee a team handling project designs of utility scale PV tracker plants
• Monitoring team performance
• Tracking work output and taking data-based decisions to improve the team’s performance
• Setting goals for the team and drive results

Qualification And Experience:-

• B.Tech / BE / MTech / MS in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with at least 12+ years of experience in CAD detailing in construction industry.
• Managing CAD teams of 5 or more for 3+ years
• Through knowledge of structural CAD detailing & MS Excel
• Ability to prepare structural part drawings as per standards
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD & CIVIL 3D
• Good knowledge on drafting and detailing standards
• Very good communication skills
