Assistant Manager – Carbon Business

• Conversant with carbon development process, especially with renewable energy, clean cookstoves, biodigesters, landfill methane capture, plastic recycling, clean water and similar project’s emission reduction computations, GHG accounting, familiarity with various framework of Verra, Gold Standard, GCC and other registry’s methodologies, standards, tools (Including that of CDM’s).
• You are expected to write PDDs, have fair understanding of complete carbon development cycle, from listing process to issuance. Should be able to work with DOEs, address DOE comments (CL/CAR) apart from Registry PRR comments till approval for issuance.
• You are expected to conduct independent research for Ex ante computations, must have grip on carbon standards, demonstration of additionality, establishment of baseline, stakeholder consultation formats.
• You are also expected to liase with internal and external committees on carbon credit issuance from typical RE/Community projects.
• Familiarity with ICVCM/ JCM/ Corsia eligibility requirements
• Familiarity with Article 6 would be an added advantage

Qualification and Experience:-

• Education: Masters/PG in energy/sustainability/ environment science/or similar domain
• Experience Level: 3-5 years
