Job Description

  • Prepare DPR (Daily Progress Report) for ONGC Site / Base & LTHE Powai Office.
  • Provide Input for Annual / Monthly / Weekly / Daily Planning.
  • Daily Record Keeping & Database Management of Consumables, Spare Parts, Running Items (Belts, Gaskets, Oil Seals etc), Engineering Documents, Notices, HSE Plan, QAP, Logbooks (Individual Equipment, Machineries, Offshore Stored Items) etc.
  • Prepare Sketch/Drawing for technical explanation, troubleshooting, mitigation plan etc.
  • Conduct Laboratory Field Tests of Raw Water, Treated Water Samples, Chemicals etc.
  • Prepare Material Indents for Consumables, Spare Parts, Other Items etc.
  • Interface with ONGC Representatives, Other Agencies at Offshore Site.
  • Participate in Daily Meetings with ONGC Site Team and Onshore Base / Powai Office.
  • Maintain safe work environment and proper housekeeping
  • Adhere to Offshore Safety & Quality requirements of Client, ensuring that environmental targets are met or exceeded.
  • Implement Shift production reporting, isolation, upkeep of records and logbooks and effective handover of information to following shift.

Responsibilities (Maintenance):-

A) Predictive / Preventive Maintenance:

  • Visual inspection of the equipment
  • Physical checking of all equipment / tubing, piping, cabling, cable joints, junction boxes, valves etc.
  • Cleaning, greasing, oiling, dusting
  • Electrical contact checking,
  • Continuity/Insulation / Earthing Testing
  • Chipping, Painting as per requirement within the battery limit and all the related components as per Standard Code.

B) Planned Maintenance (PM):

  • Rectifying faults, making the system operational in all respects.
  • Proper setting of voltages, current & alarm conditions wherever required.
  • Tuning / Alignment / Calibration
  • Tightening, refitting etc.
  • Corrective maintenance to make the equipment / system fully operational, including replacement of faulty components/modules etc.

C) Breakdown Maintenance (BM):

  • Fault finding and repairing of any of the defective equipment with minimum down time.
  • Breakdown maintenance for restoration of full functionality of the systems.
  • Making non-functional system functional by repair / replacement of components or faulty parts.

Minimum Qualification:-

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
