Assistant / Lead Engineer – Integration Testing

Responsibilities:-

• Test Environment Setup: Configuring and maintaining the test environment, including hardware components, network configurations, software installations, and necessary test data
• Test Planning: Collaborating with the project stakeholders to understand the system requirements and plan for the integration/cross functional tests across the sub modules & modules in the organization
• Test Execution: Perform integration/cross functional module tests in a quality way to ensure the integrity of the hardware and software components
• Test Automation: Automate the defined test cases and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of integration testing processes
• Performance Testing: Conducting performance and scalability testing of the integrated systems to assess their response time, throughput and resource utilization under different loads and stress conditions
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement, test automation, and optimization of integration testing methodologies and practices
• Deliver the test execution results with quality, time and cost targets agreed for the projects
• You will be also responsible for documenting and presenting your work in a precise way to your internal and external stakeholders
• Stay up to date on emerging trends, technologies and best practices related to software and hardware test integration

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Master’s / Bachelors in any Engineering specialization
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Integration/Functional tests in manual and automation
• Good knowledge of Software/ Hardware/ Network test (Integration) and best practices
• Significant experience and knowledge in creating/managing Virtual Machines, Servers (Windows /Linux Operating systems), VMware, ESXi host & VMware High Availability scenarios
• Good experience in deployment of images in ESXi hosts and do the required N/W configurations
• Networking knowledge on Router/Switch configurations
• Knowledge on SCADA, Turbine Controller Hardware,  Power Plant Controller Hardware
• DevOps/CICD working knowledge
• Have more knowledge on cross engineering/module testing experience
• Experience in modularization and modular development/test life cycle
• Good communication and leadership abilities
