Assistant Lead Engineer – Industrial / Manufacturing

Responsibilities:-

• The Cost Engineer’s main responsibility is to support Global sourcing team with Cost modelling of various Wind turbine components and provide necessary inputs on Raw material, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, labor Cost, Overheads and other Cost drivers to support supplier negotiations.
• To provide VA/VE inputs and ideas to sell solutions to increase process efficiency at reduced costs and to provide Engineering inputs for New Product development projects
• To update and maintain the Data base for International RM price, Labor Cost, Machinery etc

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in  Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• At least 8 years of Techno commercial experience with Strong Manufacturing & Costing Background.
• Sourcing Knowledge will be an added advantage

Competencies:-

• Strong Technical skills with Manufacturing Process of key Electrical components like Trafo / Switchgear/ cables & control panels etc.,
• Connect data across value Chain to identify Potential cost out opportunities
• Sound knowledge of Market cost data related to Manufacturing, Material & Labor across Key manufacturing locations
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good Presentation skills on techno commercial matters to Management and Stake holders
• Working Knowledge in any of the should cost software (Costimator, Apriori etc.)
• Basic working knowledge in Creo
• Holds, self-accountable for delivering results and also should be an excellent team player
• Must have the drive and enthusiasm to work to tight deadlines
• Be able to work across time zones and work with globally diverse cultures
