Job Description
Responsibilities:-
- Primarily working on Bentley AECOsim/ Openbuildings undertake drawing/modelling of MEP services.
- Proficient in creating multiple families in AECOSIM library and modelling cable tray using Bentley Raceway and Cable Management V8i (BRCM).
- Producing high quality and complex 3D models and drawings using Bentley AECOsim which include
- Organising and advising on programming of work.
- Working closely with Design Team members, senior and junior Mott MacDonald staff.
- Adding value to all projects for the benefit of Mott MacDonald.
- Working within a Common Data Environment (ProjectWise) and cloud-based Environment Autodesk BIM360
- Knowledge to set the Geographic Coordinate System and set the drawings according to True & Project North.
- Knowledge of AccuDraw and its shortcuts, MicroStation cells and cell placement.
- Proficient in Clash coordination in Bentley AECOsim/ Openbuildings.
- Knowledge to generate a Bill of Quantities report, Room/Zone report etc.
Qualification And Experience:-
- Hold a Professional Certificate or Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Bentley AECOsim MEP.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge on MicroStation would be an advantage.
- Some knowledge of 3D modelling (including Revit/Navisworks) would be an advantage.
