Accountant

Main Responsibilities:-

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
• Ensuring usage of correct General Ledger accounts in the postings
• Ensuring correct GST information on invoices
• Assistance and preparation of various tax returns
• Preparation of payroll – Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
• Assisting in preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
• Assisting in HFM reporting – Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.

Job Requirements:-

• Financial education – B.Sc or M.Sc in Financial Accounting
• In depth knowledge of taxation in India
• Good working knowledge of IFRS
• A self-starter who can plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
• Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, MS Office
• Chartered Accountant / Certified Management Accountant a big advantage
