Global Financial Services Division would be supporting CAT PSLD-,Logistics, where we have a challenging opportunity for a Business Analyst position that will provide FP&A support to the Logistics Services (Caterpillar Internal) business . Job Roles and Responsibilities:- Lead forecasting process of all income statement and cash flow items for the annual business plan, monthly forecasting, and a five-year forecast. Provide day-to-day business decision support to operations and general managers on various financial topics (capital vs. expense, revenue recognition, etc.). Analyze, report, and present monthly financial results to the management team. Co-Ordinate with client and with backend accounting teams to ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements. Provide investment analysis support (Net Present Value; Return on Investment) on existing client projects and initiatives. Advise management team on business risks and opportunities for current and future performance Support new business start-ups through project cost tracking and by setting up new financial reporting structures. Qualification and Experience:- Postgraduate degree / certification in accounting or finance – Professional financial certification. (CA/ICWA, CMA/CPA) 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with MNC’s Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to clearly link the operational performance of the business to financial results Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Effectively communicate as a trusted advisor to the leadership team Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative and leadership skills Skills desired: Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
